Dear Expectant Mother, 

Thank you for considering us; we are grateful that you are taking this time to learn about us. We want you to know that we are writing from our heart to your heart and we appreciate you. There are no words to describe how much we want to be parents.

We think about you and your bravery; you are a strong woman. We can’t imagine what exactly you’re going through, but we are so grateful for your courage. We fully recognize how strong you are, and we would be so proud to raise your baby. As they grow, we would love to share all their milestones and accomplishments with you through pictures and letters. Only you know exactly what you’re going through, and we would be so proud to have you in our lives. Your baby will always know how much you love them, and what a strong woman you are.

We’ve literally dreamed about your baby. We have dreams of holding your baby, raising them in our home, holding them in front of our bay window, teaching them how to play chess, playing outside in the sprinklers, and going to museums and theme parks. We will go above and beyond for your baby. We would move mountains for them as your baby will be the love of our lives. We promise to raise your child in the best environment, and offer them a great education. Your baby will be safe and protected.

We’ve struggled with infertility for over 3 years and the pain of that has made us stronger as individuals and stronger in our marriage. Adoption has always been a part of our lives, and it easily made its way into our conversations. Your baby will have a grandmother who was adopted at birth and cousins (built-in best friends!) who were adopted from other countries. They all come from closed adoptions, but we will respect and honor this beautiful choice you make and will share a relationship with you that you feel comfortable with.

We are blessed to live in Southern California. We are a huge Disney family and love going to the beach and Palm Springs. Nick loves the desert and Stephanie loves the beach. Our home is in the foothills, and we are blessed to have such beautiful weather, including snow at least once a year. Your baby will grow up experiencing the seasons with lots of outdoor time.

Family is very important to us; both sets of our parents live close by and both have been married for over 35 years. Your baby will have stability and a diverse family. In our area, diversity is very accepted and your child will grow up with friends and neighbors who look like them, whatever ethnicity they come from.

Your child will be sung to, held, and cuddled. They will be listened to, and their feelings will be respected and acknowledged. We will always support their interests, encouraging them, and learning right by their side, becoming experts in what they love, side by side. Your child’s dad will be a goof-ball and their mom will be full of laughter and dancing. The best way we can express our appreciation to you is by providing the most fulfilling life possible to your child. They will have a safe, happy childhood.

Your decision doesn’t come lightly and we appreciate that. What you are doing is such a beautiful choice. You will always truly be our hero for allowing us to fulfill our dreams to become parents and expand our family.
