I am Anna from California

I want to begin by thanking you for taking the time to read my letter and view my profile. I cannot understand or relate to what you are going through or feeling. But, I can tell you what your choice means to me and your baby. I want you to know your choice is allowing me to receive the greatest wish and dream of my life. I have always wanted to be a mom, and although that could sound cheesy, it’s the truth. I have a huge heart and I have an abundance of love to give. I know your baby will be on the receiving end of all this love and attention. 

I have a vast amount of experience working with, caring for, and doing (by being their advocate) what is best for kids. I want you to know without a doubt, that your baby will be well taken care of. I have a great job with great hours, I am a teacher, so I have a stable and reliable job. I also have holiday vacation time and summers off, so your baby will be spending time with me and with my parents. My parents will be watching your baby while I am working. They live just 13 miles from me. Your baby will also spend time with my close friends, my sister and her husband, and their honorary grandparents. I will provide a safe home for your child, but we (myself and my supporting community) will make sure your baby grows up knowing they are loved unconditionally, nourished and their talents and interests will be honored and respected. 

As a teacher, I want you to know education is important to me, so I will make sure your baby is educated and be given as many opportunities as possible. I will be an advocate and do what is best for your baby, always. 

In my home, your baby will have a stable life with routines and procedures, because as a teacher I know the value of that in a child’s life. I grew up in a family filled with love, and a home filled where making memories was important. So, your baby will grow up in a home that is safe, memories, that could be watching movies on Friday nights, or family game nights, going to the beach (I live 13 miles from the beach), spending time hiking or even going on vacations. Your baby's life will be enriched and cherished. 

In terms of my relationship with you, I want you to know I want to help you meet your basic needs. I want you and your baby to be taken care of, since your health and the baby's health is important to me. 

Lastly, I want you to know what an exceptional legacy your baby will be to me and my family. I will do everything in my power to ensure your baby has a happy, healthy and rewarding (memorable) life.
