Hello expectant mother,

We cannot even begin to comprehend the difficulties you are facing and the extraordinarily difficult decisions you are having to work through. We want to assure you that with us you would be placing your child in a kind, compassionate and capable home. We are here to help you through this process and make this part of your life a bit easier.

Calvin has been in nursing for over 15 years and currently holds certification as an emergency department nurse. Dillan has also been in healthcare for the last 10 years as a certified nursing assistant. The combined healthcare experience gives us the opportunity to care for all children if any medical concerns arise. Starting a family later in life has afforded us the opportunity to settle our careers first before focusing on building a family.

Life in our home is pretty simple. We have a small hobby farm with various animals: Cows, goats, pigs, chickens, and a puppy. We enjoy being out in the fields with the animals. We are also licensed foster parents and have had a handful of placements in our home. Each child is well cared for and is a ray of light in our home. As foster care parents, we enjoy taking the kids out into the field. Where we teach them to care for the various animals and interact with our beloved puppy, Stitch. We enjoy watching football as a family and wear our jerseys on game day. Usually, we will make a spread of various foods to snack on during the game. Go Hawks!

Foster parenting has taught us that there are all different kinds of people in the world that need just a little assistance. When we started with foster-care we wanted minimal contact with the birth family. Our eyes were rapidly opened to the necessities of family interaction. We built a relationship with the mother of our first foster son and we remain in contact with them after he was reunited with his mother. They are both now part of our blended family and are welcome in our home. We enjoy spending the holidays and other life events with them. We are hoping to continue this with you and include you in as many aspects of the baby’s life as you would like.

Your baby will have a secure future in our home. We are both college graduates with secure careers in the medical industry. We pride ourselves on keeping a nice home and emphasizing educational opportunities as well as physical and creative activities. Your baby will be surrounded with endless love and caring not only from us but from our relatives that live close and are available to help as needed.

This time in your life is extremely difficult physically and emotionally. We want to be here to make it as easy as possible. We are excited to help you through this difficult process. Our goal is to make the life of your baby as comfortable, educational, and diverse as possible.

Thank you,
Calvin and Dillan
