From Us to You
We are looking to have an open relationship with you. We will celebrate milestones by email or text. The love that we have within ourselves, we cannot wait to share with your child. They are going to be loved and cared for by us, and we cannot wait to start making new memories with them.
We understand that adoption is a lifetime commitment, and we are fully prepared to provide our child with a secure, stable, and loving home. Our greatest hope is to give our child a healthy, happy, loving, and fulfilling life where they always know they are deeply loved. We are ready to embrace this lifelong responsibility with joy and dedication.
Why We’re Choosing Adoption
We have always wanted to become parents. After trying and working with doctors, we were told that it would not happen for us, and we decided to go the adoption route. We want to share our home, love, and life with a child. This adoption journey we are on is very exciting for the both of us.
Our Lifestyle
Family is at the heart of everything we do. To the both of us, you do not have to be blood to be part of our family. We truly enjoy spending time with our loved ones and believe that the moments we share together are life’s greatest gifts. We cherish every gathering, celebration, and everyday moment, because we know how precious time is and that each day is an opportunity to create lasting memories. Our home is especially meaningful to us because it is Timothy’s childhood home. It is filled with years of cherished memories, and we are excited to continue building new ones together as our family grows. It is a warm, loving place where laughter, traditions, and togetherness are part of everyday life. Our home is also shared with our beloved dog, Gabby, who is three, and our cat, Gamora, who is fifteen. They bring so much joy to our family, and we look forward to watching them become loving companions to a child. As we look toward the future, we are excited about all the adventures that await us: family vacations, trips to the park, play dates, bedtime stories, holiday traditions, and simple evenings spent together at home. We cannot wait to fill our walls with photographs of milestones, celebrations, and everyday moments. Most of all, we look forward to creating a home where a child feels loved, supported, and safe every day. A few fun things about us as a couple: we were married at the same wedding chapel as Timothy’s parents, we enjoy cooking together and trying new foods to see whether we will have them again, and stand-up comedy and sporting events are something we love going out to do.
About Timothy
One of the things I love most about Tim is how different we are and how well we complement each other. Tim is caring and devoted to his mom. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is not afraid to be silly, whether he is singing or dancing just to make us laugh.
Tim expresses his love through cooking. To him, food is love, and nothing makes him happier than bringing everyone together around the table. Watching Tim with my nieces and nephews has always warmed my heart. He is patient, playful, and genuinely enjoys spending time with them. Tim naturally stepped into the role of a positive father figure. He taught Xavier everyday life skills, encouraged him, and was always there for guidance.
What I admire most about Tim is his big heart. He goes out of his way to make meaningful connections with the people he loves. I have no doubt that he will be an incredible father, filling our home with love, patience, laughter, and unwavering support.
About Diana
Diana, perhaps the strongest person I know, possesses an extraordinary ability to remain calm and composed in all kinds of situations. Whether it is planning an exciting trip or providing care to those in need, her steady demeanor shines through.
Her caring nature extends to everyone around her, creating a sense of comfort and security. As an only child, I was fortunate to have Diana’s large and incredibly welcoming family. They made me feel like a cherished member from the very beginning. I can only imagine the amazing times we will have as our family grows.
As a teacher, I know Diana has a way with children, but I witnessed it for myself. We were dating, and she was watching a child on the spectrum during one of Xavier’s games. The child was starting to have a meltdown, but Diana was able to calm him quickly and gently. It was at that moment that I knew Diana was someone I wanted in my life.
Our Home
We live in the city of Fremont, the town that both of us grew up in and where both of our moms still live.
Here are a few things we love about our town. Fremont has over 98 languages spoken, reflected in its wonderfully diverse international cuisine. The city has been recognized as a happy and inclusive place with a focus on family-friendly environments. Every August, Fremont hosts an Art and Wine festival, and in October there is a haunted house with games. Diana teaches in the same city we live in, so we often run into her students out in the community, which makes these events a must for us. Fremont is an hour away from the beach and four hours from the snow.
Timothy’s favorite place is the kitchen, working on a new dish to share with others. Diana’s favorite place is the family room, where we spend time with family, friends, our dog, and our cat.
Our Family
When our relationship began, our families looked very different. Tim grew up as an only child, while Diana grew up with four siblings, and our families have blended into one large, loving support system.
Today, all of Diana’s siblings are married and have children, so our family gatherings are full of laughter, energy, and love. Tim has embraced being part of a big extended family, and we cherish the time we spend together celebrating birthdays, holidays, and everyday moments.
We are also surrounded by wonderful friends who feel like family. Together, our village is filled with people who share our values of respect, kindness, and generosity. We know that raising a child will take work, but we are grateful to have a strong support system.
Our Traditions
Holidays and birthdays are a big thing in our families, and they are just another reason for us all to get together. Disneyland has become a special place for our family, and we try to make trips every few years. We also travel to visit extended family, which is another way we spend time with the ones we love. Tim’s aunt and uncle live ten minutes away from us, and we drop by just to say hello a few times a month. Those visits always end up with us staying for an hour. When the younger nieces come over, we spend time doing art or just playing with toys. As the kids have gotten older, we have found that they enjoy simply hanging out watching a movie or going to the amusement park. Christmas is the biggest holiday for our home. This is when the whole family gets together and the holiday spirit fills the air within the house. We want and plan on learning about our child’s culture so we can celebrate it as well, and we look forward to creating our own traditions together.
