Thank you so much for taking a moment to get to know us. Before you review our profile, we want to take this opportunity to speak to you directly. We recognize that this is a confusing time, full of difficulties and challenges as you navigate through your pregnancy. We hope you are safe, supported, and loved during this journey. Just know that we are thinking of you as we admire your strength as you work to not only bring your child into this world, but also plan to make sure they have the best life as possible. Please think of us as your cheerleaders through this situation as we plan to be a source of support and understanding for you.

If you choose to include us in your adoption plan, please know that it will be the highest honor of our lives. With this honor comes our promise to you to respect you and whatever level of openness and contact you will want with us and want with your child. Your child will undoubtedly have many questions about their birth family and heritage, and we will be open and honest with your child about these topics to ensure they are connected to that integral part of their lives. It is so important to both of us that you feel respected as a member of your child’s life because, ultimately, they are yours. We understand that that role and that bond between you and your child is eternal. We may be known someday as Dad or Papa, but we will never be known as Mom because that is yours forever. We just look forward to the opportunity to be your child’s guardians and help them grow as they forge their path in life.

Please know we will do everything possible to give your child the most amazing life, full of love, understanding, support, and opportunities with the intent to help them explore the world and their place in it. We promise to work hard to give your child this life, while never forgetting to honor your role in their life and the choice you are making to trust us to care for them. We sincerely hope that even if you do not choose us to be a part of your adoption plan that you find the best path forward for you and your child. You will be in our thoughts and our prayers, regardless.
