To the mother of our future child,

We want to start off by thanking you for thinking of us when making this difficult choice. We believe adoption is the most loving thing you can do for your child and we admire your courage and strength. We are looking forward to growing our family. As adoptive parents, we will provide unconditional love, stability and nourishment for your child. This will be a special time in our life and our love is endless. Your child will know that they were loved before ever even being born. We will be open and honest with your child and provide all the love and support you are seeking for your child.

We have not been able to have a child of our own; however, adoption has always been part of our plan for our family. We know this is a very hard decision, but we want you to know that we love you and will raise your child in a warm, loving environment. We will pray as a family. We hope to give you the comfort of knowing how much your child will be loved and cared for, not only by our family, but also by grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many close friends.

We both have a very strong set of values. We believe in kindness and compassion to others. We give back to our community and participate in our church. We will raise your child to have the same strong values that we have and to grow to be a compassionate, kind and respectful person, as well as accepting of all people.

Our city provides endless opportunities. It is abundant in cultural diversity. It’s our goal as parents to raise a child with stability, good values and a hard work ethic. We want your child to explore the endless opportunities whether it be academic, arts or athletics. This support does not stop here. We will be there emotionally for the ups and downs your child will go through. We will work through the good and the bad as a family.

We moved this year to a new home that we built with the idea of having a growing family. Community is very important and having a nice neighborhood was one aspect that was high on our list. Our home has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, a backyard and porches for playtime and space for entertaining family and friends. We are looking forward to filling our home with the sounds of laughter and love. The neighborhood has a large community of families and several parks for children to play sports, partake in arts and crafts, music or other activities. There are lifeguarded beaches just blocks away from us. We look forward to taking your child to baseball games and football games. Gretchen is an avid swimmer and is looking forward to teaching your baby how to swim at a young age. Richard is looking forward to holding a hand to cross the street and leading them through life. Our love is endless and we love you and your baby.

Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know a little about us. We hope to get to know you too.

With Love,
Richard and Gretchen
