Dear Expecting Mother/Parents,
We understand that you’ve probably browsed tons of these letters, trying to find the best possible life and family for your child. We’d be happy to welcome you into our lives and get to know each other. We hope this letter gives you an insight to us and allows you to imagine your child as one of us. We can’t even begin to describe how much we want to be loving parents. We want to share our love of sports, music, mechanics and all our other hobbies. Knowing we could potentially raise and nurture a child is the best feeling in the world. We long to be responsible for raising a child in a safe environment with good morals and good structure. We have so much love to give, it's overflowing. We have contemplated adoption for a while and we’re excited to go through the process with you.
We have been together for over 7 years and we met on Sammy’s 21st birthday at a coffee shop. Sammy saw Katie sitting having her coffee and we immediately hit it off. Over the years, we’ve had our adventures, ranging from heading into downtown Chicago, to going camping, to just spending quality time with our friends and family. Our friends and family couldn't be happier with the idea of us adopting and becoming parents. As far as making sure your child grows up with other children, we’ve got that covered. We have several friends and family members with children, who are excited to be a part of your child’s life. We enjoy several family and friends gatherings annually, and we love hosting gatherings as well. We’ve hosted plenty of holiday gatherings, such as spending Christmas and New Year’s together. We even enjoy just the normal weekend shenanigans hanging with the family. Thinking about having another family member to join in the fun is such a wonderful feeling.
Our neighborhood boasts great schools, lovely parks, and children of all ages and ethnicities to play with. Sammy looks forward to teaching your child how to play the same sports he loved as a child and showing them to learn how to drive too. He loves sports and he loves cars, specifically muscle cars. He’s a former athlete as well. He’s always wanted to watch a child play a game and when someone asks “who’s number so and so?” He’d say, “That’s my son/daughter.” Katie loves to decorate our beautiful home. Her sense of style would give HGTV a run for their money. She loves to do projects in and around the house, and keeping busy is definitely not an issue. She always wanted a little partner in crime. She wants to go on mother son/daughter shopping or lunch dates, like her mother used to do with her. Sammy also wants to share his quality time in the garage working on his cars with your child and taking them on road trips on the rig, like his father did with him. Our one and ultimate goal is to provide your child with the things we did have and give them what we didn’t have growing up.
We realize that placing your child with another family is probably one of the hardest things you’ll ever have to go through. Please know that we will provide your child with a nurturing, fun, family and friend filled life. We’ll always let your child know that he/she is a very special gift from you. We hope to establish a meaningful relationship with you that is comfortable to both parties. In the end it’s not what’s best for us. It's what's best for your child.
We hope you’ll find what you are looking for in our profile. Let it be known that we share your ultimate goal, the happiness and health of your child.
Sammy & Katie
