Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. We can’t imagine what you are going through, but we admire your courage and strength to even take the time to read what we have to say. Going through this process, we have feelings of excitement and of looking forward to something, even though we can’t even begin to imagine how you’re feeling. We respect your emotional journey and offer our sincerest support.
We totally get how difficult it must be to get to know us through words and photographs, so we sincerely hope we get the honor of speaking to you. We also know that we have provided a ton of content for you to read, so here are the top things we want you to know:
The baby that we are lucky enough to adopt will be so loved and well cared for. We will immediately love and protect that tiny human with all of our heart. Their life growing up will be stable and comfortable. There will be many hugs, cuddles and warm feelings. They will be safe, physically and emotionally, and well cared for. They will want for nothing and grow into a good human. We will do everything in our power to set them up for success in life and teach them how to love themselves. We will teach them the importance of kindness and love. We will expose them to many different cultures and experiences so they appreciate the beautiful diversity of our world. They will hear “I love you,” several times a day and know how important they are. They will be encouraged to be who they are, to stand up for themselves, and to be the best versions of themselves.
Here are some fun things that they will get to experience: Max is a teacher so they will get to begin kindergarten at their dad’s school! So, every day will be “Go to Work with Your Parents Day!” Brian is a talented dancer and musician and can’t wait to share his love and knowledge of performing arts. Your child will have a school, dance, and music teacher right at home.
We arrived at the choice to adopt because we love kids and wanted to grow our family. We have loved every minute of raising our 11 year old son, Noah. We know that we can give another child an amazing life and still have a lot of years in us to raise another child.
We are open to either an open or closed adoption. We would love for your child to know who you are, however we will respect and honor your wishes.
Much love and respect,
Max and Brian
