Dear Expecting Mom,
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our letter. We cannot imagine how difficult this decision is for you. It is our hope that reading our letter will offer you peace of mind and assure you that our home is filled with love that we are excited to share with your little one. In writing this, we have searched for the perfect words to say, but they simply don’t exist. If you bless us with the opportunity to welcome your baby into our family, if you bless us with the role of becoming your baby’s adoptive parents, we’d be honored.
We have been talking about expanding our family for a few years now, but we truly believe that timing is everything. We have reached a point in life that we are flourishing financially and our relationship gets better every day. Every decision up until now has prepared us for this moment. We knew that the moment we were ready to expand our family of 2, it would be through adoption. We know that we can provide a life full of love, laughter and fond memories for your little one.
Originally we are both from Los Angeles, California which is where we met and fell in love. Instantly we knew that we were destined to be together. We have enjoyed each other for years and now are so excited to welcome a little one into our family. When we aren’t home, our favorite thing to do is travel the world. So far, we have been to 10 states and 10 countries. We are elated to add a tiny traveler to our future journeys and show them the world as well. When we are home, our favorite things to do include watching great movies, karaoke, and especially cooking. Boy do we love cooking! You name it, anything from fresh, handmade pasta (which we learned how to make at a cooking class in Italy) to fresh baked chocolate chip cookies! Whenever we have our nieces, nephews and godchildren over, their first question is always “what’s for dinner?” We believe that food brings families together and that eating together is essential. Every night we gather around the table and talk about the best part of our day. We can’t wait to include a little one in the memories made and laughs shared around the table.
Last year we purchased our forever home and enjoyed the six month journey of having it built from the ground up. Before doing so, we made sure of a few things. We made sure that we had our home built in a safe community with great schools because education and safety are extremely important to us. It was also important to us to make sure that our backyard could be an oasis for our future little ones to play and enjoy family time. Outside of our home, our community has a plethora of brand new parks, pools and other activities that cater to children and family. If you’re up to it, we would love to share pictures and updates with you.
You’ll be delighted to know that we have a huge network of family and friends who are equally excited to begin this journey. There are so many more people other than the two of us that will be there to welcome our new bundle of joy. Granny Mary, is so excited she can’t contain herself. She’ll be there, along with dozens of cousins, aunts and uncles. We are so thankful for our family tree which is filled with so many family, friends and neighbors and we are so excited to add your bundle of joy to that tree. Thank you again for your consideration.
With our most
Lacy & Ashley
