Dear Expectant Mother,
We applaud your courage and are very proud of your selfless
decision of placing your child for adoption. We cannot imagine what it must
feel like to have to choose adoptive parents for your child. We wish we could
say the perfect words to make this time a bit lighter for you, but we know that
there is nothing to take this pain away. What we can do is tell you that God
loves you infinitely and His divine mercy is and will always be with you. You
can trust Him to lead your life and support you in making the right choices for
both you and your child.
If you consider us as the adoptive parents of your child,
rest assured that he or she will be loved unconditionally and that we will gift
him or her with our greatest treasure, our Catholic faith. He or she will learn
about God and experience His infinite love for us, His children, since the day
we welcome him or her into our family. He or she will learn to trust in the
plan that God has for him or her because your child’s life has a unique purpose
here on Earth and we firmly believe that.
Ever since we were dating, we both knew that we wanted to
have a family, both through birth and adoption. Stefany had a dream when she
was a little girl and knows that adoption is part of her calling. God has put
in our hearts the desire to pursue adoption now, so that is why we are choosing
to adopt at this time. Adoption is not new to us; Stefany has four cousins from
different uncles and aunts who were adopted, and who have always been loved
unconditionally by everyone in our family.
We are both cradle Catholics born and raised in Monterrey,
Mexico. We moved to Texas for work some years ago and now call Texas our home.
We have been married for almost 5 years and we are blessed to live in a
well-established neighborhood inside a gated community. Our home is within
walking distance to our church and several playgrounds. The neighborhood has
plenty of young parents like us. We have a dog named Elvis; he is a very sweet
and loving dog. He is also a certified therapy pet.
If you decide to consider us as the adoptive parents of your
child, he or she will be raised celebrating our Hispanic heritage and Mexican
culture. He or she will learn Spanish and we will also teach him or her the moral
values and traditions that have always characterized Mexicans: friendly,
warm-hearted, hardworking individuals with an extraordinary joy for life and a
service-oriented attitude. Individuals who honor and respect their family,
their culture’s traditions, and share a deep love for God and Our Lady of
Guadalupe.
We will make sure your child receives proper education;
we’ve already started saving to pay for his or her college, should he or she
decide to attend university. We will also encourage him or her to live a
healthy lifestyle by setting an example with our own way of living. We will
teach him or her how to be financially savvy and how to give generously to
others, especially those in need.
Your baby will also be adored by our extended family, our church
family, and friends, and we promise to share updates and photos with you so
that you can be assured that your child is so incredibly loved and cherished.
We thank you for considering us to be your child’s parents.
We know this is a challenging time for you, but please keep in mind that God
has a plan for all of us, and in His generosity, you have been blessed with a
child that was always meant to be born from you. You will always have a very
special place in your child’s heart and in ours and we will continue to pray
for you now and in the future.
We have so much love to give and we are very enthusiastic
about growing our family through adoption because we believe we have been
called to do so. We are looking forward to meeting you very soon!
In Christ,
Hector and Stefany
