We are Samantha and Jesse-Marie from Maine

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for considering us. A decision like this must be very difficult and we hope that you have love and support while you are making it. Love and support are what make strangers a family. We are so ecstatic to be considered to raise your baby. We have wanted to have a family for some time, but wanted to make sure we were ready both emotionally and financially. We want to acknowledge how hard this decision is for you and how incredibly grateful we truly are. We want you to know that no matter what, your child always comes first.

We met 7 years ago after we both decided to just be who we are. We have an incredible life that we work very hard for.  Samantha (who goes by Sam) works in her family business, selling lobster and other seafood. She works closely with her brother and father. Jesse is a Social Worker in a healthcare facility.  She works with elders and supports families. We have two rescue pups, Gidget and Nellie who have lots of personality. Sam's family lives close by in the next town over and we spend lots of time with them and our niece who is 6 years old. We also travel a few times a year to see Jesse's family and nephews  (6 months and 3 years old) in Texas.

We live in a beautiful neighborhood on a dead-end street that is perfect for bike riding and walking. There are several kids and families on our street. We live within walking distance to our elementary school, playgrounds, library as well as the beach. We live in a coastal tourist town so there are many fun family and kid-centered activities to be a part of.

We love to be on the water in boats or swimming. We also love traveling and trying new things. We love camping and the outdoors but also like to visit Boston for a basketball or baseball game. We want to make the most out of life and take every opportunity offered.

We love getting together with family for dinner, outdoor plays, and concerts, or just relaxing at home with the pups. We feel as though raising a family is an honor. We want a healthy balance of spoiling them, but also teaching them to have a good work ethic. We will teach your child kindness and family values. And of course love and support.
