Dear Expectant Mother,
Adoption has touched our lives through family and friends who have adopted, and we see how the families and the children have flourished with the love that surrounds them. We are humbled by your courage and strength in considering adoption for your baby. Wherever your journey leads you, we hope you find comfort in knowing that you have chosen a life where your baby will be regarded as the biggest blessing and is cherished every day.
We are Noemi and Kevin. We have known each other since 2003 when we met while working together. We became the best of friends and in 2009 we were married. We have struggled with conception since we got married, and in 2016 we conceived naturally, but had a miscarriage in the 6th week. We realized that no matter what struggles we face, it is love that creates a family.
We share our lives with our two dogs, Olive who is 2-years-old and Gizmo who is 10-years-old. They are the sweetest little dogs and bring a lot of joy into our lives. We enjoy taking them on walks on the beach, short hikes or hanging out in our backyard. They are well mannered and wonderful around kids.
From Noemi: Kevin is the most caring, loving, selfless man I have ever met. We love traveling together and seeing new places, whether it's by car for a long weekend or flying out to visit family. On our first trip together we traveled to New York City. We loved it so much that we went back a second time in the same year! We haven't been back since, then but that was the beginning of our love of discovering new sights together. Kevin is my best friend; he is attentive to my needs, he nurtures me when I am feeling down and he brings be back to reality when my mind gets the best of me. He is the oldest child in his family, and he took the responsibility of taking care of his younger sibling when they were growing up. That experience helped him to become such a good cook and he loves to bake. When he first cooked for me, I knew he was a "keeper!" We both love museums, history, culture and food. I am blessed to have Kevin in my life. He has taught me to be patient, to be adventurous and to live life in the moment. He keeps me grounded.
From Kevin: I met Noemi the first time on a phone call. I didn't know it then, but I was speaking to my future wife and lifelong partner in love, happiness, and joy. She motivates me to be a better person by encouraging me to volunteer my time, talent and money to better the community we live in. Noemi is always finding new and enriching activities for us whether trying out a new taco shop or visiting a pop-up local art fair she found out about. I admiring her courage, as she is not afraid to face her fears. Noemi is afraid of heights, but you would not know it. She does not let her fears define her, and is always willing to join me on roller coasters or a walk up to the top of a cathedral's copula. she is a wonderful hostess, making sure everyone has everything they need, whether it's tracking down someone's favorite food or introducing one of our friends or family to a new dish that quickly becomes their new favorite. However, all of this pales to the number one reason why I love her so much; her happiness and joy are overwhelmingly contagious. When she is in high spirits, I can't help but join her, and I will always be eternally grateful to be a part of her life.
We have truly been blessed in so many ways and we hope we will soon be blessed with a child to love and cherish every day. We hope you will consider us for your child, we promise to always strive to provide a loving, stable home with lots of family and friends to surround us with love.
